October 3^rd Vocal Auditions 4:30-9:00 p.m. Black Box Theater

October 4^th Dance Auditions-Boys/Non Ballet Dancers: 4:30-6:30

Ballet Auditions-All girls auditioning for a female lead MUST BE THERE

6:30-7:30 learn ballet combo 7:30 begin auditions. IF YOU HAVE POINTE SHOES YOU WILL DANCE ON POINTE

Call Backs: Sunday October 9^th 1:30-6:00 p.m.  time breakdown will be given on Callback list

Secondary Callbacks POSSIBLE: Tuesday October 11^th

NO SCHOOL DAY 2:00-6:00 p.m.

**Important Note: Phantom rehearsals are starting early because of the magnitude of the show. Unless you are  cast as a lead role you WILL NOT BE USED more than once a week until after early November. Dancers will be working at least two days a week (one of these will probably be a Saturday or Sunday afternoon) we will be auditioning section leaders this year as well. Section leaders will also have to commit to one day a week DURING THEIR LUNCH to work privately with the music director as well as being at all ensemble rehearsals and music rehearsals.

This year we will be casting UNDERSTUDIES for principal roles. All understudies will have the option to also be a member of ensemble, but may choose not to. Understudies will need to be at every principal rehearsal. Understudies will get AT LEAST one performance. That performance will be up to the discretion of the director and music director.  Being an understudy is a very difficult role, if you are not interested in this opportunity PLEASE do not sign up for it on your audition sheet.  This year you will receive a YEAR of production credit! That is 6 100’S in your average. HOWEVER, any ensemble member that has not attended the required amount of rehearsal before Winter Break will not receive credit for the second semester! Please know that EVERYONE makes the show, not just the leads. If you don’t think you are important YOU ARE WRONG! We need you there and we expect you to be there.

This year as well we will be running a program called the PHANTOM CREW this group of students will be responsible for creating the hype and buzz for Phantom. We have many ideas and plans to involve the student body, and we need YOU! Best part of all?? YOU WILL RECEIVE A FULL YEAR CREDIT FOR THEATER PRODUCTION!!! You must commit to helping one afternoon a week until December and then at least two afternoons a week in January. Also you will serve as ushers, publicity crew and much more during the show dates. We hope that you will be involved.
